    Definitely well deserved. It was just the kind of hit the league is trying to do away with.

    To be fair, Cruz has a repuatation of being rattled by big hits, legal or not...

    I can understand why, tactically, such a hit woudl be done.

    Doesn't excuse it by any means (hence the fine), but it makes sense as to why he did it.

    so he did it because it was Cruz?? Nah...he would have made the same play no matter who the WR was....

    This hit is why they need to start suspending guys. He launched into the head of a receiver.
