na, week 3 loss is just part of the ride

if ur playing poker and you lose a big hand early and are short stacked for the whole game but then u end up heads up and go all in and lose - do u blame the early hand for the loss or the hand that had all the chips in the middle?

Bottom line Eagles was the first moment we blew and Packers were the second moment we blew. That was that

I'm just saying that if we did exactly what we did and the ref made the right call we would have been in the playoffs.

Don't make a friggin federal case out of it.
no federal case, just a debate

ya know - the point of messageboards

but regardless, i could care less

Nothing trumps the Eagles game with how we lost and what was knowingly on the line
I thought the point of the message boards was to call Morehead an Eli hater.
no these message boards are here to talk football

how u let urself come off as is your own issue
Really? Talk football?

I say that I'm happy with Eli because he's protecting the ball better and I'm called an Eli-hater for suggesting that he was not protecting the ball last year.

Thats talking football? No...thats attacking Morehead for trying to "talk football".
no thats moorehead hiking his skirt up and acting like a woman

    (i'll +1 myself on that)

Truth of the matter is that Moorehead really isn't being truthful with himself. Just because the results are different this year, doesn't mean that Eli is playing THAT much better.

We've all told you that the interception stat from last year was completely inflated and you were being ridic about it. So far Eli has had 2 of his 5 Interceptions where I say it cost us and was his fault.

Sorry but Beatty not getting the block (for whatever reason) vs the Skins was not on Eli. The play is designed like that

Cruz slipping is not Eli's fault.

And then the garbage time pick at the end of the game when it was over is just for the stat hounds.

ALOT of catches this year still have characteristics of plays you KILLEd eli for like not being accurate and placing the ball perfectly, not having good form on throws, throwing into crowds - ALL OF THESE THINGS STILL HAPPEN but all of a sudden you think Eli is playing head and shoulders better

Truth is, im not even sure hes really TAKING those sacks like you think he is - i just don't think hes having a choice but to do that otherwise. And the level of play of our WRs is MUCH better this year. No offense but the play of Cruz these past two weeks overshadows Smith and Mario's performances for the most part last year. In reality I think we have a better receiving game than last year. Ballard is doing exactly what Boss did for us, the RBs are more involved, Nicks has progressed, Cruz and Mario are equal if not better than the performance of Smith and Mario last year (so far)

all games are important. IF we had won the Tenn game, then Minny would of been that game is all im saying. Regardless its going to come down to you HAVING to win a game with the playoffs on the line (unless by lucky chance ur able to back in, which is rare). We didn't show up to play for the two most important games of the year. Your not going to win every game your suppose to, its unrealistic and if your team can't win the games that define their future then who cares baout anything else. We would of been 1 and done anyway imo.

    now back to reality

either way we didn't show up when it was all on the line. If we couldn't close one of those games out then who gives a ****. We couldn't compete with playoff teams in a playoff type game...

we didn't deserve it and there was NO game we should of won more than the Philly game. I don't care how good or bad Tenn was. The game we still should of won by no contect is that second Philly game

That's revisionist history if I ever heard it.

The conversation always starts with you ripping Eli for 25 Ints last season, then we defend him...because we truthfully believe (and have provided evidence in the form of new statistics and specific examples) that he deserves a break on many of those ints based on how they occurred, you then call us "Eli Lovers" and jump into your hate rhetoric.

I think it was Byron who recognized that and brought it up previously....classic "long troll" I seriously doubt it though...I don't believe Morehead has that type of dedication to trolling, I could be wrong though.
