Wow!
I guess that falls on the players not being motivated when we play winning teams.
and at what point do we blame the players? its so easy to blame one person, isnt it guys?
Players play, coaches coach and cheerleaders cheer.
They follow the game plan, they do what the coach says in practice, they listen to what he says. He is the boss. Do you just do what you want at work or do you what your told/gameplan to do? The coach is the one the blame should fall on. The 49ers have sucked for almost a decade, they have all the same players, get a new coach and look what happens. Same thing with the Lions. You think Mike McCarthy or Sean Payton just lets the Packers and Saints do what they want and that is why they are so successful?
When the players are doing everything they are told and giving 100% effort then who's fault is it when we fail? I have heard Coughlin say a couple times this year, "we got outcoached".

Pretty ELIte company...even though MH thinks it's ho-hum.
I guess when your only the 5th person to do something EVER it's not that big of a deal.
Then again he thinks a dynasty last decades so....
One might also say that all the QB's on that list are gunslingers however. lol
Not ho hum. But its a testimate to not getting hurt for 7 years (and I suppose not being incredibly horrible in any of those seasons). The reason there are only 5 is that in today's era, 3000 yards and 20 TD's is mediocre, but also in this day and age a QB rarely gets through seven yesrs without missing significant time.

Playing 16 games per year for 7 years is noteworthy. Because in Eli's case he is Gumby. he has no skeleton and is made of a synthetic, plyable composite material.

We'll know soon what kind of practice Cruz is able
to turn in, but he isn't known to have missed any snaps while racking up
nine catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's lopsided loss
to the Saints. The Giants may just be looking to get him some rest
during a short week. Stay tuned.
