Re: THEE NYG SWAG THREAD
It's that time of year when mock drafts start coming out. With just four
teams left in the playoffs, including the Giants, fans and the media
are looking ahead and trying to predict which players each team will be
    targeting in a few months.

While the Giants' draft position is still in question (the Giants
can pick 29th, 31st or 32nd), that doesn't mean we can't take a guess at
who they will be choosing in the Draft. In Mel Kiper's first mock draft of the year, he has the Giants going with an area of need.

Kiper has the Giants taking offensive tackle Zebrie Sanders from Florida State to beef up their offensive line. With Kareem McKenzie a
free agent after the year and the offensive line having an overall down
year, it would make sense for the Giants to target an offensive lineman
in the draft. It's also unknown at this point whether rookie James Brewer will be ready to be a starting right tackle next season.
i still say Beatty to RT

This is the exact reason I was so happy you took him. lol

If you would have got D Will with your first pick would you have taken Kobe over Amare? Honestly...
DWill wasn't even in my top 13
He will be wearing purple and gold next year.

Jets owner Woody Johnson stated unequivocally Thursday that Santonio Holmes will be back with the team in 2012.

"He may be one of the best players we've ever had,"
said Johnson, who may be a bit biased after forking over a $45.25M
contract for Holmes in late July. LaDanian Tomlinson called the rift
between Holmes and Mark Sanchez "as bad as I've ever been around," and
isn't sure the relationship can be repaired. Johnson, though, is
"concerned but confident" that the on-field connection can be fixed in
    2012.

Makes me sad to see you say that. You have given up on D Will in Brooklyn.

oh, Morehead....I forgot to tell ya...
I watched the ESPN doc last night called Catching Hell...you seen it?

Steve Bartman incident? It was awesome. The reason I was reminded of you was because the beginning of the doc focused briefly on Buckner in the 86 series.

I started to pick up on the fact that the documentary was basically talking about how with fans and media, it becomes less about a moment...and more about perception of the moment. And it dead on. I mean....in that specific situation, 2 pitchers had given up multiple hits, multiple runs, and then the 2nd reliever throws a wild pitch in a clutch at bat....AND THEN the Buckner play. Get who does everyone remember? Not the pitchers who totally blew the game, but the guy who snafu'd the last play. NOT TO MENTION, there was a game 7 AFTER that game that boston couldnt win. lol....it's so terrible the way we percieve things.
Don't get me wrong....i dont feel bad for boston...but I've always felt bad for Buckner.

once Lopez went down, that stopped any realistic chance of DHow coming to the Nets, which in turn gives no shot to DWill staying...

DWill will be gone before deadline - to where is the question

btw, i've been getting my fair share of Laker games in lately

Mike Brown may possibly run the worst offense in the league.
