I do own 1 firearm, its a nice old mausberg that I keep clean and in running condition. Simply as a means of protecting my home, gotta watchout for those dope fiends running around robbing people
I have no interest in firearms, however I have been toying with the idea of getting a pistol permit just so I can have something in the house also. I don't think I'd ever need it, but, peace of mind is better than nothing i suppose.
Cant go wrong with a shotgun for home protection. #1 the sound of the shotgun ****ing is scary as hell to a burglar and #2 with a shotgun ya cant really miss if you're shooting at a burglar inside your house
Super Bowl 46 was dedicated to my Uncle Mike and my Boy Cat-1, getting Loud & Proud from above
lol if you miss from close range with a shotgun youre an awful shot. the bergs extremely fun to shoot. my friends got one. hes got a few assault rifles as well. he has a ruger mini m14 socom that shoots 5.56 natos. we rolled a boulder out on the range, set it up about 150 yards away. 200 rounds later, it was dust. We used an m4 too. Damn i need to get on the range.
piz, if you are thinking about home protection you can never go wrong with a revolver. They will never jam. although newer semi auto pistols dont really jam unless theyre really dirty.
yea iv been there. thats a nice range. not too bad as far as being in the middle of no where. one in uniondale we go to. most of my friends like going upstate more though cause they have fully automatic rifles and the employees from the shooting range are always telling us its illegal. they dont bust your balls upstate and vets and current service members shoot free or half off depending on how business is i guess.
