Problem is, we put ourselves in this situation depth-wise just by holding onto him...
now we're stuck with him. Yes he's a cheap option now, but we're only keeping him because when we re-signed him, it was a terrible decision.

Actually the deal we made with him last year was extremely team friendly. We could have cut him this off season without any cap hit, as far as I understand.

Yea, but instead of using the money on someone else, or signing a different CB.....we paid the guy 2 million to re-tear and ACL. It's not team-friendly to waste money on a guy whos shown he cant stay on the field.
