Well the same can be said for almost any Blues band. Each key only has a handful of chords in that key. There are obviously lots of variations, but there are only so many keys.

Of course. I realize that its in all music. but folks can usually be less obvious and subtle when they do it lol. I'm not trying to "over analyze" it just if I can notice it so easily than it gets a bit old ya know.

I get that. The "ear" is the final arbiter.
To me, all metal sounds too similar. Not enough elbow room in order to continue calling it metal. They pigeon hole themselves to appeal to 13 year old boys. (and Pizzy)

I actually like punk music. I categorize Blink 182 as punk music, well their old stuff. Their new stuff is actually pretty sweet. A lot more melodic.

I agree with all that. i grew up on Blink. I've seen them live 7 times I think
