btw, i didnt mean i lost interest in GoT.....I just meant ive lost interest in certain characters.
Arya is definitely more engaging in the books. They changed her story up a fair amount in the show. And also, in the show you don't get to see quite as much of her psychology. A good deal of her PoV chapters she's alone, or mostly so. Like in the first book, there's a fair amount of time before she flees the Red Keep and when she leaves King's Landing with Yoren and you get to see how she had to survive on the streets for that time. Her time at Harrenhal is also completely different in the books than it was in the show. In the books, Harrenhal was originally given to a sellsword group nicknamed the Bloody Mummers. Arya actually helps overthrow them, which allows Roose Bolton to take control (though with the events of the Red Wedding, his being loyal to the North at the time may be suspect). So, for her to kill a guardsman to get out was a lot more meaningful, as it was one of her House's bannermen that she had to kill.
