I don't care how much we love Steve Smith. We weren't going to pay him $4MM to play in 10 games (if he's lucky)</p>
True, it's too much to pay him. Who do you see stepping up to fill his spot for critical 3rd down conversions and Eli's go to guy when plays collapse? I say Mannigham &amp; Cruz-when Eli eventually get's confidence in him.

whoever we were planning on doing it for the first 7 weeks. Regardless of what Smith says he is physically, Giants were PUPing him if he signed...

    Boss gone it hurts

Somebody said we may look into signing Housh or Cotchery. I wouldn't mind etiher, but i think i'd prefer Housh because i heard Cotch is banged up too

1 mil 1 year deal for Housh

    yea

i think he may have some air in the tires

he had NO QB in Seattle. Hass was down that year.

in Balt he wasn't used alot. Balt is getting knocked for what they did with their WRs by not using Stallworth the rihgt way, not making Boldin stud, and Housh didn't ge talot of attempts

vet min. Hes a possession WR like Smith was. He could maybe be revived for a year or two
I guess it's similar to Ohara. Smith was injured and there was no guarantee as to when he could/would contribute.
