Ben Roethlisberger will wear a steel-toed shoe in Sunday's game against the Titans.

Roethlisberger's sprain is near the front of his
left foot. His mobility could very well be compromised and he's playing
behind turnstiles on his offensive line

    GO TITANS!
Welcome aboard Mike Vick...

I don't get it. You have Matt Stafford. You can only play one of them.
he got vick for a backup QB and 4th receiver. Its a no brainer
Had to take the chance. I would not be surprised if Ryan puts up more points than Vick from here on out but I don't think it will happen...
lol waht ****in chance did u take? You got a top 3 QB for garbage lol
The chance that he gets knocked out for the year and I have no more QB depth.
uhm, you have Stafford
lol so what chance did u take again?

ur not getting off the hook that easy buddy.

I agree bandy. Like I said its just different this year. Verlander had a Nolan Ryan type dominated year. Plus the batters really don't have any SICK SICK SICK numbers. And Dezz, why don't u compare Bautista's numbers vs Grandersons
cause his team didnt make the playoffs. if your team doesnt make the playoffs, how are you valuable???lol
no i agree

but bottomline he did have a better year than granderson

Morehead must HATE the fact that Eli is doing so well...as the leading member of the "Eli Haters" Fan club and all.
As long as he's not throwing a lot of stupid picks, Eli is fine with me.
when will you love him??
Is that the new standard? if you don't "love" Eli, you must be an Eli hater.

I will not succumb to the oppression on this MB.

    FIGHT THE POWER!!!!!
no ur a hater because of ur blatant ignorance on his throws and your reasoning...

Eli throws the same "bad balls" as he did last year. Its just the difference of the defense not capitilizing and the our receivers actually making the plays.
I disagree with you that Eli sucks this year.

I think he's actually played well.
lol it must be hard to be as wrong as u are on this topic

but u keep fighting the good fight sir
So your view is that Eli isn't playing any better this season than last.

What color is the sky in your world Matt?
Let me break it down to u pappy.

Besides the wrong routes and tipped balls not happening, there was a break down done of balls that should of been intercepted. Other QBs like PEyton statistically got lucky. Eli was actually on top of that list of defenders making plays against him. The truth of the matter is that there have been a couple of balls that could of been picked that that weren't. LUCKY ON ELI.

Eli STILL throws those same tight balls into double and triple coverage, balls you CONSTANTLY killed him for because the plays weren't made. Now that they ARE being made u think Elis made some dramatic jump in his game play. It just shows how out of touch wtih reality you are.

Hell even in talking about the two interceptions he ahd this year, u still tried to put that redskins pick on him and NOT the Rams one. Granted you came back and said the WAsh one wasn't his fault, but u didn't have the right reasoning as WHY it wasn't his fault. Then u give him a pass for the Rams INT? It was a brutal ****in decision and ball. Which makes pretty much makes all of ur previous knocks on Eli baffling.

He is playing better and has taken sacks in a couple of situations in where else other wise he would of tried making a play. BUT STILL, the number of times thats happened isn't nearly as dramatic as ur making it seem.

The funny part is u tried knocking him this year already by saying YOU WANT YOUR QB TO BE A PLAYMAKER. The truth is you don't know if your coming or going and your heavily downplaying the fact that the receivers seem to have a way better grasp of the offense than they did last year. Hell they guy u've been blowing hardcore (not that I wasn't) just got benched because of his inability to run the right routes.

Its time for you to wake up old man

    it is and it isn't...

I mean its an individual award and if a guys team doesn't make the playoffs its tpyically because of the other members of the team that he most likely made better...

but again, MVP is more than stats. Its about winning. You have to be in the playoffs to truly win

Matt...who do you feel deserves the MVP?

I'm telling you right now, it will not be Verlander. Regardless of how great of a season he had, as i stated before. Even 2 or 3 votes who don't believe in pitcher MVPs...if they dont put him on the ballot, that pitcher WILL NOT win MVP.
it's a game of averages, and average ZERO into a bunch of numbers, and that vote % drops SIGNIFICANTLY. so it's not going to happen.

I knew you were going there. I was thinking Eric Decker.

You are as thin as I am. Trying to figure a 4 player trade. Or even 2 for one.

    Decker and_______for Best.
That is laughable. lol A waiver pick up MH?
Brandon LLoyd was a FA pick up last year and was the NFL's leading receiver. Vernon Davis was a waiver pick up in our league the year before and he wasa top 3FF TE that year. Sidney Rice was a waiver pickup by Shocks in 09 and he rode him to the champiuonship.

This is why you are not in our league anymore.
guess u thought this was pizz n not lando lol
Actually I thought it was Dez. Sorry Lando but you know better not to discount FA picks.

Don't forget McFadden was a FA pick last year too.
nope I drafted him in like the 8th round in 2010 and never got rid of him....
always thought MVP was most valueable to their individual team.. i mean you could look at Tex as much as Granderson as to why the team was good.
Without JB the Jays would have been below Baltimore in standings..
