Explain the WR thing to me because after 4 games in 09 he had MM, SS and Nicks and played great. <u>In '10 he had the same 3 WR's in the first 4 weeks (all obviously with one more yearof experience) and was horrible.</u> This season <u>he has two of them but we substitute a vet (Steve Smith) for a guy who had never caught a pass in the NFL (Victor Cruz) and is playing well again.</u></p>

Elis numbers after 4 games this year:
80 for 125, 1060 yards, 64% 8-2 TD to INT

After first 4 games last year:
85 for 132, 1004 yards 65% 5-6 ratio

seems to me like that supports my theory MUCH more

Eli is doing the same **** that he typically does, the receivers are just playing better and not having balls bounce off their hands and run wrong routes.

Also we haven't been getting murdered so Eli would throw some garbage time picks

Let me break it down to u pappy.

Besides the wrong routes and tipped balls not happening, there was a break down done of balls that should of been intercepted. Other QBs like PEyton statistically got lucky. Eli was actually on top of that list of defenders making plays against him. The truth of the matter is that there have been a couple of balls that could of been picked that that weren't. LUCKY ON ELI.

Eli STILL throws those same tight balls into double and triple coverage, balls you CONSTANTLY killed him for because the plays weren't made. Now that they ARE being made u think Elis made some dramatic jump in his game play. It just shows how out of touch wtih reality you are.

Hell even in talking about the two interceptions he ahd this year, u still tried to put that redskins pick on him and NOT the Rams one. Granted you came back and said the WAsh one wasn't his fault, but u didn't have the right reasoning as WHY it wasn't his fault. Then u give him a pass for the Rams INT? It was a brutal ****in decision and ball. Which makes pretty much makes all of ur previous knocks on Eli baffling.

He is playing better and has taken sacks in a couple of situations in where else other wise he would of tried making a play. BUT STILL, the number of times thats happened isn't nearly as dramatic as ur making it seem.

The funny part is u tried knocking him this year already by saying YOU WANT YOUR QB TO BE A PLAYMAKER. The truth is you don't know if your coming or going and your heavily downplaying the fact that the receivers seem to have a way better grasp of the offense than they did last year. Hell they guy u've been blowing hardcore (not that I wasn't) just got benched because of his inability to run the right routes.

Was it a throw that the gunslinger should not have made?

KG is inconsistent, whenever Eli is calling the plays we do very well.

I think it's also true that KG confuses our own receivers...many many times we've seen Eli throw the ball to a spot where the receiver is supposed to be but the receiver ran a crossing route instead of a go route etc etc.

I'll give you one thing Morehead...perhaps Eli is learning to deal with the receivers mistakes better...

but Eli himself is not throwing the ball more accurately, as you seem to be implying, Eli is consistent...the team around him (especially the OC) are not, THAT is what I see.

I never said he was less accurate last year. I said he made more stupid decisions. This year he has thrown the ball away more, he has taken more sacks and most importantly, he has dumped the ball off better.</p>
