Re: THEE GAME IS vs THE BUFFALO BILLS ON OCT 16th!

The Giants have no shortage of worries, obviously, but a scout from
another team tells me center David Baas is continuing to grade out the
lowest of any Big Blue lineman on an almost weekly basis – which is
saying something, considering how massively left guard David Diehl’s
performance has fallen off. Baas, you’ll recall, was GM Jerry Reese’s
only prominent free-agent addition in the offseason, landing a
five-year, $27 million deal to leave the 49ers. The former Michigan
standout has given the Giants little return on that big investment so
far, as witnessed by the team’s NFL-worst 3.2 yard average rush through
10 games. With little to no push inside from Baas (or Diehl, for that
matter), Giants running backs have been forced to bounce outside for
yards. That fits the style of a quick back like Ahmad Bradshaw, but it’s
a recipe for disaster with Bradshaw sidelined and the lumbering,
single-direction Brandon Jacobs getting most of the carries. It should
also be noted that San Francisco’s running game is even better after
Baas’ departure. Coincidence? And as everyone saw Sunday night when the
Eagles often pressured Eli Manning with nothing more than a four-man
rush, Baas’ pass-protection skills are lacking, too. Reese has a deft
touch with the draft and is usually spot-on in veteran free agency, but
Baas is looking like an expensive whiff so far......Tom Coughlin
indicated Monday that Bradshaw is unlikely to make his self-predicted
return this week at New Orleans, it’s difficult to see what the Giants
coach could lose by starting rookie Da’Rel Scott against the Saints
instead of Jacobs (who looks downright useless now) or D.J. Ware, who
suffered a concussion against the Eagles. Not only did Scott show some
much-needed speed in the preseason, but the Saints rank just 19th in the
league in run defense by giving up an unsightly 121.5 yards per game.
Scott also looked good on the first two carries of his career last
Sunday, averaging 5.5 yards per pop. It’s difficult to imagine Scott
faring any worse against New Orleans than Jacobs’ 21 yards on 12 carries
versus Philly

Here's the paper's description of the future of "augmented reality":

Wearable computing will likely provide new ways to manage
information and interact with the world. For example, personal
see-through devices could overlay computer-generated visual information
on the real world, providing immediate, handsfree access to information.
The ?rst step toward always-accessible information and superimposed,
data-rich imagery will most likely be implemented in see-through
eyeglass displays. Ultimately, a much less cumbersome display for
augmented reality may take the form of a contact lens.

The lenses, they say, could communicate with other gadgets to send and receive information:

In the future, contact lens systems may receive data from
external platforms (e.g. mobile phones) and provide real-time
notification of important events. As contact lens based biosensors
advance, they may alert the wearer of physiological anomalies, such as
irregular glucose or lactate levels. With more colors and increased
resolution, contact lenses may display text, be used with gaming
devices, or offer cues from navigation systems. Our long-term goal is to
create a display that can be comfortably worn in the form of a contact
lens, which will include a pixel array, focusing optics, an antenna, and
circuitry for power harvesting, radio communication, and pixel control.
yea, everyone i know who watches the show, thinks that despite last week's ending, Opie will not be the one to do the deed. I kiiiinda hope he is, cuz he's one of my favorite characters, and he's had his life ruined by samcro MULTIPLE times yet is still loyal.
I also kinda wish that there wasnt so much going on at once. I feel like the writers might sacrifice the quality of one story to show you what happens in another.
i was listening to Ope And ANthony yesterday and they got on the topic of how Sopranos ended. Apparently a few years ago the writer came out and said Tony didn't die.

Then a caller called up and said that he did die. Season 3 Tony said he'll probably die fast by some ******* with a MEMBERS ONLY jacket on. Apparently the guy that walked into the bathroom in that scene had a members only jacket...

I know its random but it sparked in my head when u said that the writers of SOA have too much **** going on. That was constantly how Sopranos was.
reeeallly?
what idiot thought that ending was a good idea. just confused everyone.
you have GOT to read everything ion that link i just posted. Blondie never watched sopranos so we're gonna go back and watch them all and im going to point **** out to her so that when we get to the finale it will all make sense
