I would have put the kid on his ***, joking or not.</p>[/quote]No disrespect to Pizz's family and the way they do things--I could never bring myself to raise a hand to my pops. Just could not do it. This generation is a lot different(not that that's right)..... A few years ago my boy raised his hands to his mom...We went at it - 2 200 plus lbers , it was very difficult psychologically for me, I only wrestled him, I refused to throw punches...I took 8 stitches that night.

I dont think it has to do with how i was raised in terms of my generation. I think it's just how my family is. We wrestled my dad all the times as kids...my brothers and i would kick the **** out of each other....we would box with my dad and **** like that. It's not a respect thing as much as it is just commonplace for us I guess.
I dont view it as "i raised a hand to my father"....it's just "how we roll"

I've sworn to myself that if anyone even came close to hitting my mother, you'd have to drag me off that person's bloody body after i was done with them. I mean, it angers me right now just thinking about it.</p>[/quote]Every single person say's I should of pummeled him. I could not bring myself to hurt my own child...maybe there's something wrong with me? Idk. Alot of issues surrounding him. Addiction is a horrible disease. I/we have done everything(and continue to do) multiple times....he's doing great right now, but it's day by day. Our relationship was probably the best a father and son could have until age 15---We did absolutely everything together-I coached his sports teams, den leadered boy scouts, camping, got involved with his karate teacher, worked out &amp; competed together. Our relationship is solid again now. Great memmories. I pray everyday that he maintains the strength to fight his demons.

[/quote]funny you brought that up, someone called up fat mike yesterday and said that. fat mike tried blowing it off "today you have guys like breez and payton who throw for 5000 yards now. its pretty impressive but not as much as it use to be." made me mad. he was teeing off on the giants yesterday. he sounded frustrated.

Funny....I found an old picture of me and my oldest last night from 1990. I had him on my shoulders, the funny part is LT was wearing a flourescent t-shirt, cargo jean, BK knights sneakers with the tongues out and I was sporting my same hair style but in extreme afro mode with the classic LT stache. Arrrrgggghhh, and I thought I was so cool. lol
