In reality the only reaosn Rivers hasn't done it was because he didn't start the first 2-3 years he was in the league. He already has 3k and 16 Tds. I guess its possible he doesn't hit it this year, but doubtful that he doesnt

Because he missed games in several seasons. That stat suggests a starting QB who hasn't missed significant time in 7 years. If Eli had a season where he threw for 3000 yards and 20 TD's it would be the worst season of his career. It would be the worst season of the careers of most starting QB's in the NFL.</P>

This mid-end of season collapse which has been the case for us every season since 08 is frustrating. I would LOVE to be able to let a game go here or there without having the season come to a washout
