    I would agree with you but then again look at johnny unitas stats. Theyre not even close. Namaths popularity and guarantee helped propel him into the hall imo.

    The league was very differnt then. You could maul WR's and kill QB's. And there was no dumping the ball off back then either.     Whatever.....Namath was still overated. he wasnt even in the best of his era let alone HOF era
    Nobody would give a flying **** about him if it werent for Superbowl 2, and all his super gimmicky antics outside the NFL. Like....worse than people making fun of Brady's hollywood status....
    He was popular....not good....

    he had more career ints than tds. MH gets frigidity when Eli gets to 10 in a season. hahahaaa

    I ignored that stat to see if anyone else would bring it up....because it's THAT bad.

    he BARELY had a 50% completion %, where the other guys i mentioned were pushing 60%

    haha... look up how many games he played in the nfl wasn't many...to be fair he took hits....he was to flamboyant for my taste I didn't like him
