I hope not. I like Douglas a lot as a return guy. He seems like a playmaker to me. He probably would be picked up by another team if we tried to PS the guy.

One of the reasons I think we might go 6 at WR is David Wilson. I have a feeling that he's gunna be used in the passing game as more than just a 3rd down back.
That kid needs to be on the field as much as possible.

Plus, Nicks and Cruz are our future. Anyone else is a supporting cast.
EXACTLY. This is just like baseball fans expecting their 3,4,5 starters to be aces. They dont have to be all stars. Can jj or Randle produce Manninghams numbers this year? I think both of them are capable.

Gotta go a little easy on Barden. Coming from Cal Poly, he had to learn how to play football. Then all the injuries delayed thsat process. I know he seems like a bust his first 3 years, but I still see some playmaking ability from the kid.

Yeah my thinking was Barden needed to show up big to beat out Hix

yes it was....but it was also over whether or not he'd be able to overcome the injury to be productive enough. is that not what we're talking about here?

I liked him out of college also I throught at the time he would come around fairly quick....but whatever...like you said earlier a lot is going to factor into what happens with Hixon.....tough call ...In my mind at best... Hixon was a one year play for the Giants had they kept MM he would have been gone

I agree with MH, that if we do go with 7 WRs, than Hixon will stay....but I dont see it happening because you also need depth elsewhere, and for us specifically, it usually ends up being on defense. lol
