Im thinking of taking the cop test for the city. pay is horrible but after 5 years I could be making 90k a year.....I like my job now, but I dont know, I feel my mind is to agressive to sit in an office all day, if that makes sense. Maybe agressive isnt the right word...

Alot of my friends are NY State Troopers. yea, once you get some tenure, the pay is really good.

Meh most of the cops I know (and I know quite a few from bowling as usual) do stuff like smoke up, drunk drive, do other drugs etc etc.

the more worrying thing is that Dez says he's aggressive (or antsy) if there is one job where patience is and absolute necessity it be a cop, I can't think of a job where it's more important.

I don't mind my office job. I'm just getting a little tired of the face to face public interaction. I think I'm better suited for back office work. Stuff where I can just sit at my desk and do my work efficiently. And since I technically have almost 8 years underwriting experience, I'm hoping that works to my advantage.

I cut down, Im trying to quit, its really hard. Dont really care what anyone says, I think its addicting.

yea, but they ask about frequency in your lie detector tests. maybe sometimes they care less than others
