I'm not overreacting to anything, all I said is that the free market does not in fact exist, which is true. Now, speedman, on the other hand is getting a little wild, lol.
Now that that's been said, I'm not a fan of the current legislation, however, having the populace have access to actual affordable health care is a good thing. I think more needs to be done to bring the actual costs of health care down (this includes such things as costs of med school, malpractice insurance, the poor's reliance on emergency care, etc). Mandating health care doesn't fix the core problems with the health care system.
Introduce real competition, instead of the rigged game each state has, and you will see affordable health care.
Introduce the government and its hyper bureaucracy and you will see poor care for too much money.
