The Giants offense as a whole can hang with anyone in this league. They have an abundance of talent at skilled positions, the one key question is how will the offensive line play? The great Jim Parker once quoted, "when Unitas eats, we all eat" and that's true in regards to our o-line protecting Eli. His sack numbers were not a clear indication of how many pressures and hits he endured over the season.

I really like what we have at the running back position. It's unknown what they can accomplish but that's a good thing. We knew what we had with Bradshaw & Jacobs. So the uncertainty is kind of fun before the season unveils.

I think the offense will move the ball well, but the true test will be do they score touch downs or field goals? Field goals leave you watching the playoffs, touch downs gives you a ticket to the dance.

Giants fan since the early 80s

Probably not lmao. I'm just trying to hype myself up.

He'll probably get like 4,000-4,500 yards-ish. If they are serious about the run game, then that number will drop, but I see the passing game much improved.

    Excellent post.

Our problem last year wasn't moving the ball (for the most part), it was scoring. With a healthy RB core and Nicks, I definitely believe we will break our previous record of points scored in one season.

and win superbowls? I used to hate Gilbride too but hes definitely grown on me. His hybrid run and shoot offense he runs is perfect for Eli. WR options might confuse some WRs but once learned they are dangerous. Look how many WRs put up over at least 900 yards with Eli. Doesnt matter who our TEs are. Im pretty sure since Gilbrides been here weve had a top 10 ranked offense. He can also call a good running game. ward and Jacobs were the first 2 HBs to run for 1000 yards on the same team in a long time a few years back.

Perry Fewell on the other hand......

That same top 10 offense struggled to score last year.
But it's not all his fault. It's not.
