There are a lot of great QB's in the league right now.
Luck is one of them but I can't say that he would end up any better than Keapernick, Wilson or RG.
Then there are the guys who are just coming into their own now or within the last year or 2, like Ryan and Flacco.
Then there are the guys who have been around and we've seen their best like Eli, Ben and Rivers.
Then there are the all time great 4 in Brady, Peyton, Brees and Rodgers.

Who would I take? It depends on for what. for now? For the next 3 years? For the next 10 years?

Give me excuses so she doesn't say "OH YOU'RE SAYING WE WON'T BE TOGETHER?"
Tell her I advised you. She'll understand. I mean, she already does everything I say anyway, so this is no different.

His cap figure is also 15 million dollars less than Eli's this year. Imagine the team you can assemble around a demigod like Luck, and with an additional 15 mil to do it.

Call me ungrateful, but opportunity cost factored in, I don't think I'd take any QB over Luck while bearing the future in mind.
    hahaha
    demigod.

In 11 Eli played great against ATL, Green Bay, got the **** kicked out of him in SF and still played ok(the same type of performance you praise Phil for), and made clutch play after clutch play in the sb, AGAIN. Im not an Eli cultist, I know hes nowhere near Peytons level, its irrelevant, but I will take Eli and his determination and grit over most of the "talented" QBs out there. We could have this argument until we are both blue in the face, but you lack respect when it comes to Eli.
I'm not taking away from Eli Dez. I'm just sick of this nonsense that he strapped the team on his back and won it for them.
Thats an insult to the other 52 guys on the team. Eli is the QB...therefor an very important component to our championships. But he's ONE component.
Our defense was outstanding in those runs. I mean all time great at times. Eli was clutch and I am not taking that away from him.
His conribution in 2007 was far less than 2011. But he's an important part in both.

No, I'd rather discuss my homer obsession then hear *****ing about a dumbass 'roid-infested sport.

Matt Ryan is nothing compared to Luck.
