That's pretty sweet, I might do that.

    You have this card?

Yeah. It posts the points after your first statement. The 10,000 points can only be taken off in increments of 2500, or more, though.

In other words, if you fill up your gas tank and it comes to $47, you can pay 4700 points and take it off your statement. If you buy lunch, though, and it comes to $18, you can't pay 1800 points because it's less than the 2500 minimum.

Ah I see how that goes loll, makes sense.

I would probably use it for a big purchase anyway.

Yeah, and if you make like a $300 purchase, you can just put all 10K points on it and deduct a $100 from it.

I'm just afraid to sign up for TOO many credit cards, isn't it bad?

No. Too many inquiries hurts your score temporarily, because it leads creditors to believe that you're in desperate need of money. Once you get the credit card, though, as long as you're responsible with how much of your credit limit you use, and you make sure your payments are on time, the negative effects go away, and your score actually improves.

A long credit history is good, and having multiple accounts in good standing is better than having a few accounts in good standing. You just have to exercise self-control with all that plastic.

I actually could always use my chase freedom card too, they have some pretty good rewards. I might sign up for the Giant one too though.

It's insane how many taxes they take off.

I can make like $1000 and they'd take about $250.

I finally got to see it. Yeah, he did the exact same thing (again to Fleener, I believe) last week vs. Buffalo. He's just incredible.
