2nd Half Collapses - 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, & 2012

Fortunately we were able to overcome the 07 and 11 collapses and right the ship at very end. But more often than not, we can't right the ship.

2006 - start 6-2. Lost 4 straight to start 2nd half with some embarrassing losses. Backdoored into playoffs at 8-8.
2007 - start 6-2. Have embarrassing losses to cowboys, red skins, and Vikings. Down vs a poor Buffalo team, we were fortunate enough to fight back and win a must win game. Finish 10-6.
2009 - we start 5-0. We were freaking 5-0. We lose 4 straight starting with CC Brown playing the single worst game for a player in Giants history vs the Saints who were also 5-0.in last four games of season, we gave up 40+ points in each game. Finish 8-8.
2010 - start 6-2. Start 2nd half losing to cowboys and eagles back to back. We fight back to only need one win vs Eagles and Packers to clinch a playoff berth. We witness the biggest chokejob in NFL history vs Eagles and just get blown out by the Packers. Finish 10-6.
2011 - start 6-2 AGAIN. Lose 4 straight, tho the schedule was very difficult. Still need to win one. Down 12 points to cowboys which might have been our 5th straight loss, eli saves the team and the coaches. Then get embarrassed by redskins, and then finish season strong obviously. Finish 9-7.
2012 - start 6-2 AGAIN. currently 8-7.

You can add 2008 as well even though we were consistent in the regular season, but the Giants only won 1 game out of their last 4 after starting 11-1.

I left it out since we won that Panthers game, and didn't play starters entire game in Week17.

Yeah but they where 1-3 their last 4 games. Last year they won their last 2 games. See? In 2008 they had a second half collapse but maybe it should be left out because of the Burress thing.

2008 is the worst collapse of all.. 11-1 and unstoppable and played like garbage the last 5 games. We should have repeated that year.

If you want to see something beautiful, watch that 2008 oline. Our run game was unstoppable due to that line. Any of us would have been a 1000 yard rusher behind it. We never had lost yardage on runs, and we literally would bust out 10 yard runs every other play.

Most teams actually get better as the year goes on, look at this season. Probably at least 10 teams got better as the year went on, but this team I have no idea what their problem is. I blame coaching first because that is what needs to be looked at first.
