Excerpt: "In addition to suffering a blowout loss to the Seahawks, the 49ers have suffered a significant loss to their receiving corps.

Wide receiver Mario Manningham tore his ACL and PCL Sunday night in Seattle, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. That obviously means Manningham won’t play in the playoffs, and a torn ACL this late in the year could affect Manningham into the 2013 season as well." Read more...

Poor Manningham. Really liked the guy and was rooting for him.

After watching that tackle in slow mo. The player had a chance to take another step or so and hit manningham above the knees.

If that was Suh that made that hit he would have been called a dirty player.

Quote Harrison of the Pitt team if you hit a guy low and take his knee out no fine no penalty. If you even come close to the helmet penalty and fine.

He says he will do all his tackling low from now on. Not sure the NFL understands what that will mean. I suggest you will be seeing a lot more knee injuries coming next year. Dam love this game but come on man let the players police the game.
