Thread: Norv Turner

    Norv Turner

Norv Turner is a brilliant OC and a horrible HC. It's clear that some guys just don't have what it takes to be a great HC. He is head and shoulders above Gilbride as OC. I would take him as our OC in a heartbeat. The Giants can't count on 6-7 losses being good enough every year. When it's time to put a game away, Gilbride is awful. If the Giants are serious about competing with the window starting to close, a change must be made. 3 & outs are really bad for your defense; they can't get the rest they need. Please, Giants brass, make the change. Reach out to Norv.

I'd take Norv as off.coor. in a second. Not that Gilbride is bad. We did win 2 SB's with him. How about grab Norv just for the sake of change. A different look on offense. We've done the Gilbride playbook, now lets try Norv's!

Gilbride isn't leaving unless he's offered a HC job. Expect the same three stooges next year.

The organization has already said they don't expect any coaching changes. Fewell was extended through 2013.

*Crosses fingers in hopes of either Philly, Chicago, Arizona, or San Diego hiring Gilbride*
For a Giant fan that I personally knew: My mom. May she smile and be delighted whenever her favorite player - Victor Cruz - scores a touchdown and does his salsa dance.

Thank you mom for everything! Let's Go Giants!

Uh no. He is a proven loser and has done nothing in San Diego with a talented QB, RB, WR and TE.

I have heard that Giants system is difficult to learn. Any new coach coming in would have to learn the ins and outs and in my opinion could not be productive right away. That would mean no SBs for awhile.
