I'm up in south NJ visiting family for the holidays, and I can't convince my father that Eli is a top 5 QB in this league. All he keeps saying is that Eli stinks. We watched Sunday's game together, we both saw Eli have one of his best performances he's had in a long time. After Eli would score a touchdown he would look at me and say "it was a lucky throw and he still stinks". It's unfortunate that there are people out there that feel that no matter what Eli does during his career, nothing will ever be good enough! I by far am not an Eli homer, but I am someone that knows the difference between being a good QB, who's there when you need him when it matters most, and know that my teams QB is not always going to be playing his best ball, and having a bad game once in a while is unavoidable. Please help, what can I do to change his pessimistic mind?
