Our Defensive Captain and malcontent DE had publically stated their fears and nightmares. The defensive line folded before this game had even begun. Too much to ask for to have them chomping at the bit for a chance to hit Roach With Braids like Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens did. No, our defensive line folded and were scared of this guy. It was an embarrassment.
Our best chance in that game was to take away the short and middle game and to force Roach With Braids to try and throw long but unfortunately, due to the fears and “nightmares” of our Defensive Captain and malcontent DE, our OC put together a gameplan to slow the game down when Eli Manning should have been throwing downfield and turning that game in to a shoot out. Our DC, Perry Fewell seemed to be a little lost in this game and didn’t adapt his gameplan at all. When our Defensive Captain and malcontent DE publically stated how afraid they were of Roach With Braids and how they “knew” that Eli would eat the clock and keep the rookie QB off the field, they should have been benched. Antrelle Rolle was right to be upset at the comments.
Now folks are going to defend our piece of garbage OC for the 2nd Washington Redskins game?
Eli missed a couple throws in the first half but was finding his groove and looked to be coming out of his slump. He was starting to throw well and pick that pass defense apart. So, our piece of garbage OC decides to handcuff our offense in the 2nd half and stops throwing the ball.
The very fact that our garbage OC formulated a game plan to appease the fears of our Defensive Captain and malcontent DE over their fear of a rookie QB was ridiculous. Washington Redskins fans in the stadium were shocked that we had abandoned the passing game. Granted, Washington Redskins were the better team that day but our offensive gameplan hancuffed our offense and cost us. It is time to get rid of this piece of garbage OC.
Wow. Seatlle just took away the short and middle and made RG III throw deep and what happenned? He got picked off.
Their defense made adjustments to stop our run and Eli is still confused on how to deal with the Skins defense in regards to passing the ball on them. In all fairness, we just don't match up well with that team. We struggle against QBs with running potential and since we are a pass rushing defense more so than stout run defenders, that's why we struggle against Morris and the zone scheme as well. The game we should all be complaining about is that 1st Eagles game.
Cool story bro

Again, KG doesn't dictate to Eli where to throw the ball. That decision is on Eli. Every singe route on every single play isn't a deep route. Eli chooses to throw it deep. Maybe it's because he wants the big play. Maybe the defense has taken away the shorter routes. Maybe the guys running the shorter routes didn't uncover in time.
Also, we need to keep our TEs and RBs in to block a lot of the time due to our OL giving up too much pressure. That GREATLY affects what you can do in the short or intermediate routes.
