Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg -- best rap tandem ever?
Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg -- best rap tandem ever?
Eric B. and Rakim for me, personally. "Paid in Full" is a top 5 hip hop album IMO.
Snoop has always been way overrated to me because he's got swag for days. Don't get me wrong, I like old Snoop Dogg records, but I think he's a very average lyricist. Dre is one of the best producers of all time, but Snoop has always just been more of a gimmick to me than a serious rap artist.
Additionally, another duo that never gets enough credit is Gang Starr. DJ Premier is one of my favorite producers ever, and Guru (RIP) was nasty on the mic.

Ok, DJ Premier and Nas. That's not even a debate.
Giants fan since 525 BC.
NaS + ______ = legit lol.
His album "Distant Relatives" with Damien Jr Gong Marley was amazing.
Definitely one of the best collaborative albums to come out in the past 10 years IMO.
Was disappointed with Jay-Z/Kanye's "Watch the Throne". A few good tracks, but I hate Kanye so much that it ruined the album for me.

Nothin' better than some rock steady reggae from the 60s:
This is a very little known treasure in the grand scheme of reggae from Justin Hinds & The Dominos - Carry Go Bring Home
