Im a fan of Rambo (the player and the movies) and Geathers late is a nice value. Not a fan of Jones in our system and im not sold on Aboushi even though hes a homegrown kid from BK, he looked slow as balls in the senior bowl
Super Bowl 46 was dedicated to my Uncle Mike and my Boy Cat-1, getting Loud & Proud from above
Why don't you explain your picks? It seems like you are just following what has already been said or keying on big names.
Bacarri Rambo - Don't get me wrong, this guy has probably the coolest football name ever. Aside from that, I barely saw anything from him in GA's bowl game. I think we can get by without taking a Safety in the first 3 rounds. Rolle, Will Hill, and either KP or more likely Stevie Brown coming back.
I'm not sure anyone is going to touch Mauti in the draft. He lacked athleticism before his 1st knee injury. Let alone after his 2nd.
I like the 1st, 3rd, and 4th picks but as others have pointed out before, we're really good at Safety with so many options already on our roster to explore without needing to touch the draft.
Think we can pick up a better late round OL prospect too.
Cool story bro
1) Datone Jones is more of a 3-4 inside DE. I don't see him working in a 4-3 well. Certainly not as a pass rusher of any calibre. People have issues with Okafor and Ansah's lack of pass rushing production and Jones was worse than either of them.
2) I like Oday Aboushi.
3) I think we have a glut of really solid Safeties (Rolle, KP, Brown, Hill and now, even TT). Not sure we pick up a Safety this early but I like the pick in a vacuum.
4) Solid pick ... no bells and whistles. Love his size though.
5) Geathers has a great pedigree (I think his hamster even went into the NFL) and massive size but I'd think at that size, he'd be a NT prospect. We definitely could use the mass inside though.
