If you could travel back in time what sporting event would you like to attend?

If you a given a trip back in time to any sporting event, what would you see?

I would have love to witness the Giants first Super Bowl victory

For the Giants -- SB 42. ANY sporting event, Game 6 of the '86 World Series. Possibly the Miracle on Ice in '80.

Imagine being there in that 2 minute drill and savoring the agony of the Pats fans filing out of the stadium. Go to Arizona expecting the coronation as the best team of all time, and leave with a stunning loss.

    Soo many choices...
Gretzky scoring 5 against the Flyers to give him 50 goals in 39 games.
Joe Carters homer to win the Jays 2nd World Series.
Game 3 of the '87 Canada Cup final.
Just about any of Ali's fights.
And the sweetest of all... Superbowl 42.

The Superbowl when the Giants lost to the Ravens. I wanted to be near where Peyton was calling the plays and scream out instructions.

This is probably random, but I would go back to the wild card game against the Falcons.
I don't think anybody including myself knew how dominant we were going to be in that game, and in the playoffs leading to the Super Bowl.
Met Life was just rockin' and we played so well and set the tone for the rest of the playoffs. Loved that game. Probably my favorite playoff game minus the Super Bowls of course.

1932 world series game 3, really would like to know if Ruth really pointed and called that home run.

    1) Ali vs. Frazier 1(the 1st fight in MSG)
    2) Miracle on Ice: 1980 US Olympic Hockey team upseting the Russians
    3) Don Larsen's Perfect Game in the World Series
    4) 1958 NFL Championship Game
    5) Wilt Chamberlain's 100 point game

In that order.....A distant 6th moment would have been see the game were Josh Gibson almost-by a matter of inches-hit the ball out of the Old Yankee Stadium
