    what's jacobs status?

    I know MM is out. Whats the deal with Jacobs? Is he deactivated? Anyone know?

    He got cut as soon as the playoffs started.
    It may look like I'm new, but I've been browsing the forums for about 2 years now.

    The cut him pretty much right after the Giants got eliminated from contention...

    if he kept his mouth shut he could have had 3 rings assuming the niners win the SB

    They didn't release him when because we got eliminated. They timed the release so that he couldn't be added to an active roster until after the SB. That way, NO team in the playoffs could have active during the postseason.
