Giants should target Sean Smith (Miami Dolphins)

Tall physical CB who would compliment Prince very well on the outside. I thought we should've drafted him back in the day, but now we should take a shot at signing him.

I havent watched Miami enough to tell if he fits scheme wise. But if he does, money is everything.

Isn't he Miami's best CB? If they have a good cap situation, I'd imagine he returns to the Dolphins.

I wanted Smith inplace of our Beatty pick in the 2nd, wouldnt have made much of a differnce as they both seem equally as talented at their postions...

Miami wont pay him what he wants. He wants 6 years $43 mil

The Giants need to focus on their own free agents after they are done releasing players. They can't even say hello to other free agents until mid-March

Just looked that up and you're correct. The question is now if he is really worth around $7million a year or if we should just explore a lower cost option and take a 2nd to 4th round CB in the draft? Prince has already shown to me he can be that #1 guy and I'd rather he gets that sort of money from us.
