why havent the giants made more cuts

why the **** are diehl and c toast still on this roster? i would have much rather kept ab and cut those 2 once good players. face it diehl gets pushed around like a little ***** and not only does webster get burnt almost every play he also gives up on the play once he gets burnt. cutting these clowns will free up a ton of money to get younger cheaper replacments. cant do any worse than what those 2 guys brought to the table last year. jr get rid of them NOW

How would it work if they cut Diehl? Would they save a lot of money?

A strong wind would probably be an adequate replacement for Diehl.

    Diehl
    Keeping next season = $7.825
Releasing before next season = savings of 4.825 mil
    Dead money = $3 mil

on the current roster maybe not but there will be a ton of cuts all accross the nfl and there will be some better options the c web and diehl cut them now that way when these "better options" become available we have the money to get them

Those two wont make it to FA day. I feel that they get released by then or take huge pay cuts to stay. TT will also face same fate with his injury issues
Football has been very, very good to us.
In the midst of this losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!
