Thread: Philip Wheeler

    Philip Wheeler

I think we should target Philip Wheeler mainly now that we just released Michael Boley.

I think that Wheeler had a break out year with the Raiders and would fit very well with the Giants. He just turned 28 in December, so he is a pretty young guy that can add that speede and juvinity that we so need in our team.

    Any thoughts?

This would be an ideal signing by Jerry Reese if he doesn't have that much faith in drafting a linebacker or our current linebackers. He's athletic and won't break the bank to sign.

Giants fan since the early 80s

Exactly I feel that we could get Arthur Brown or Khaseem Greene in the second. I rather solve the ILB problem through the draft.

I would Love to have Wheeler, Ogletree and Williams as our LBs. We could even move Kiwi back to DE where he belongs.

I think Khaseem Greene will be one to watch...

Definitely he is very good. Take a look at Arthur Brown though, NFL.com compared him to NaVarro Bowman and gave him the highest grade for every linebacker, definitely someone to watch at the combine, his stock will rise significantly.

He looks good... I actually remember seeing him play a few this past season...
