Any real Giants fan who doesn't understand the monumental accomplishment of holding the highest scoring offense in NFL history to 14 points, can't be a real Giants fan. That's just an empirical fact.
Its one of the greatest defensive performances in SB history.

who isnt proud of it? people are just pointing out the reality of the offense helping the D by limiting the number of times brady even had a chance to score...in sb 46 he completed 16 passes in a row at one point and had the offense not regained that time of possession battle, maybe NE doesnt need a hail mary and has another 30 seconds to move...just saying, if YOU cant understand the giants offense set a record for longest drive in a sb vs NE in sb 42 holding t the first 9 minutes (ne would go onto score immediately when getting the ball) that played a part of the defense success and sb 46 the TOP was like 38 min or something...cmon now...

and back to a part of the thread i didnt like, i just wanna make it clear, theres nothing wrong with anyone who disliked herm edwards before he made these comments. ive felt the way i do bout him for some time...just bc he made a comment about eli doesnt mean a persons dislike for herm is based solely on that or something...
The Patriots had the ball 9 times and scored 17 points. That's was half of their scoring average. Don't even get started on the first Super Bowl when the greatest offense to ever play the game was held in check. It's a team sport and all where needed to win. To not credit the defense for their accomplishment is just wrong.

I just don't understand how a Giants fan can mock that historic performance. 5 sacks. They knocked Tom Brady on his *** 19 times. It was a beating that Brady took, unlike anything he had seen all season where he was barely touched.
It makes no sense at all to make the snarky comments you have made.
