I don't know if you have kids or not, but mine are grown. One thing I always instilled in them is to never let someone else's bad behavior be an excuse for your own.
Tiki is a ****head. His comments were completely unacceptable. So we condemn Tiki's comments, complaining about Eli. Which as far as I'm concerned is a big no no for teammates to do. To be consistent though, if we do that, we also must criticize Eli for doing the same regarding Tiki, regarding his early retirement announcement.
And BTW, for a guy to announce that this season is his last is no big deal at all. We saw Gonzo do it this year in Atlanta. No one thought it was a distraction. I never understood the whole "distraction" thing at all.
