All you have to do is watch when a team pulls an OL out after him. He ducks and weaves and does everything he can to avoid them. He should be getting in their face or taking out their legs. Or at least getting to their outside and forcing the runner inside.

In general he doesn't have many issues tackling.

I have not seen him shy away from contact, or throwing himself around.

Just watch the first minute or two. http://youtu.be/PBZzYCQVdgs

But some games he is much more willing to take on bigger guys. He's just not consistent physically

Not from what I read slick. Go read some reviews of his Senior Bowl practice and game performance.

From the games I've seen I don't really need to read his reviews. I have no problem with him in coverage. Watch these two videos and give your honest assessment on his tackling and physicality....please don't call me slick.

I like rhodes and wouldn't mind him at 19, but he seems a tad stiff.

I've read he is physical, not afraid to get his nose dirty and mix it up in run support. it may not be his strength but I don't believe it is anywhere near a weakness. His coverage ability seems to be his strong point. I didn't notice anything in the video that would contradict that thought process. Just read an article that his combine performance took him from a fringe 1st rounder - 2nd rounder to a solid 1st round selection. He just followed up an impressive Senior Bowl with a great showing at the combine. I like Trufant better than Rhodes for us but it's just an opinion. I responded to post that said he is not as physical as Rhodes and not much of a tackler. From what I have read about Rhodes he has some run support issues more magnified than Trufant's. Overall I like Trufant better for us. Deion Sanders said today he expected to see more from Rhodes another analyst said he has a weight fluctuation history that will be interesting to monitor. Thanks for the video!

I didn't see anything special about desond at all, they completed almost every pass, and he was run right out of running plays. Jamaar Taylor is much better in coverage and in run support, tackling...Him or Jordan Poyer
