Point system question

Being that the 19th pick is worth 875 points my question is for those that have tracked this does this value hold up in draft talks or do they gauge the trade offers based on the depth of the draft? or both?

Another words if the Vikings wanted our pick the swap would be the 23rd pick value 760 pts + a 3rd 155 pts or 910 pts to our 875. In math we make out but does the talent drop off warrant the trade in this draft? Just trying to dig down a little to see for fun to see if I can guess what GMs think when pulling these triggers

The point value is just a base system to start from... obviously GMs are thinking on whole different levels than us with regards to depth in the draft and what each GM thinks all the other GMs are thinking. It's a massive game of Poker basically...
