I was starting to believe that the writer knew something about football. He gave a pretty good recap of where Tuck has come up short and may not even be up to ordinary NFL calibre. Then he said the Giants have other option beyond Tuck such as re-signing Osi....................UGH!! Who do they hire to write this stuff?
No one remembers who came in second.
No..we can't.
Giants fan since 525 BC.
Hard to say you can count on him since his last two seasons. Well, with the exception of the last two regular season games and post season anyway. Still, he is not that old and maybe with a good offseason he comes back stronger. He was good against the run.
and, in theory, if ur gonna keep tuck only as situational pass rusher, wouldnt it make sense to keep the more successful of the two in that one regard? which would be osi...i dont want either really, i mean id prefer both just retire, or take team friendly contracts, but we know thats not how they roll...
we cant rely on tuck. ya know, maybe its a motor issue with him. it seems like coaches and personnel people are always having to try and hype him up. by his own admission he took some plays off or at least didnt go 100% all out, i dunno...
Hell to the no. He's a solid run stopper and maybe he'll rebound to 7+ sacks but we need to draft for the future.
With all due respect but in your opinion you are willing to give Ojomo a chance over Tuck ? Like you already said in another thread we have the 31 st D in the league and you propose this ? Until Ojomo proves otherwise he is just a backup and depth material. I respectfully disagree.
