I love all different types of music...I freaking make music. I know a little thing or two. And yes, I do think the 80's were the best in terms of music.

From someone who lived through the 80's, it sucked. Not to say that there weren't some good things to come out of the 80's, but it was faaaaaaarrrrrrrrr from being the best decade of music.

80s music is terrible. Untalented "musicians" and their hair metal, and bull**** fake rock music. There are soooo few exceptions. And then of course you have new wave, and the start of synthesized pop music. Yea, that was a great ****ing invention.....--____--

The only good part of 80s music was the introduction of hip hop music to mainstream culture.

Yup. There was some good speed/thrash metal in the '80's, Metallic, Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies, etc. Not that I'm that big of a fan now, but it was bad *** back in the day.

ehh not really. idk if emo can be classified as a music genre lol. its more the people who are emo

This is a band I consider one of my favorites of all time. (Byron is also a fan =P )

The GUYS might be kinda emo, but the music es definitely post-hardcore, which im a fan of.
