    You can probably find some great offers. Gyms are always doing promo offers because they're always deep in hock.

    But they will screw you royally if you attempt to cancel or dispute jumps in your monthly payments.

    That's the case with me.

    I have 2 options.

    $150 start fee, with $20 a month for a year.

    OR, $20 start fee with $20/month for 2 years.

    Both have annual fees of $40

    Kind of nervous to make that large committment for 2 years, but seems cheaper....

    Well if you don't think you'll go after a while, chances are that second year (and maybe more) is gonna be a wasted $240.

    But I don't trust gyms either way. Guarantee you that even if you do option 1 with the $150 start fee, you'll somehow be finagled into a mandatory year 2. They're ruthless.
