FACT OR CRAP - 2nd/3rd/4th Stringers

As FA is upon us with barely enough cap room it is becoming more obvious that some people who have been on our roster will have to step up next year. And while there are fan favorites I am curious to see if people are willing to call out who could be an IMPACT PLAYER for us next year. Maybe not a starter but a significant contributor or will they just be camp or practice squad fodder and turn into the next Sinorice Moss.

So this player will be an IMPACT PLAYER: FACT or CRAP

    DT Marvin Austin
    WR Ramses Barden
    OT James Brewer
    S Stevie Brown
    OL Selvish Capers
    C Jim Cordle
    LB Mark Herzlich
    S Will Hill
    CB Jayron Hosley
    WR Jerrel Jernigan
    DE Adewale Ojomo
    LB Spencer Paysinger
    WR Rueben Randle
    TE Adrien Robinson
    S Tyler Sash
    DE Adrian Tracy
    CB Justin Tryon
    TE Travis Beckum
    DT Markus Kuhn
    T Brandon Mosley
    RB Da'Rel Scott
    DE Justin Trattou

    T Matt McCants
    G Stephen Goodin

This is an exercise in futility. We don't yet know who will be on the final 53 and we haven't finished releasing players or re-doing contracts.

Most everything we do on the board is an exercise in futility but we do it in the name of entertainment and the distraction of something to do having a long off-season. Taking a gamble on whether or not they will be here is part of the mystery and debate.

agreed we know nothing so for someone to say one thing is futile while all day we spend pretending we know stuff is preposterous

I was bored so here's my take on the following list of players that you posted

DT Marvin Austin - Step up or Goner during training camp

WR Ramses Barden - already gone

OT James Brewer - Step up or gone..last chance

S Stevie Brown - We've seen what he can do, can he do it in a starting role on a consistant basis?

    OL Selvish Capers - backup

C Jim Cordle - backup center / guard

LB Mark Herzlich - your time is now I hope u show more than you did last season didn't look very good at all

S Will Hill - has showed he can cover the slot, and a promising young safety / future starter

CB Jayron Hosley - shaky rookie campaign...must improve this year but he did show flashes

WR Jerrel Jernigan - backup slot receiver or 4 wide sets..going into 3rd season he must show improvement

DE Adewale Ojomo - flashed during pre-season but can he do it against other teams starters?

LB Spencer Paysinger - very athletic and has bet upside of any LB currently on the roster besides for JWILL

WR Rueben Randle - I expect big things for him. Has shown he can run good routes and gets separation

TE Adrien Robinson - our future starting TE..hopefully he shows what JR has seen in him

S Tyler Sash - special teamers / backup safety

DE Adrian Tracy - Osi's replacement..looks to be a good pass rusher

CB Justin Tryon - backup CB and special teamer

    TE Travis Beckum - GONE...SEEYA

DT Markus Kuhn - had a decent rookie season before the injury..I liked what i seen from him

T Brandon Mosley - unknown..haven't seen him on the field yet

RB Da'Rel Scott - 3rd string running back speedster catches the ball well out of the backfield/kick returner

DE Justin Trattou - DE rotational player..showed some good things his rookie year

RB Andre Brown - stay healthy and u have a very bright future with the GMEN..tough /fights for every yard

LB Jake Muasau - sleeper..potential to make 53 this year on the LB core

T Matt McCants - terrible in pre-season..why are u even still here

G Stephen Goodin - don't know anything about him lol

DB Laron Scott - backup CB / special teamer

TE Larry Donnell - good size / good blocker

TE Jaime Childers - just brought in, don't know much about him yet

DE Matt Broha - practice squad

PK Jake Rogers - dont know anything about him
