    safety is another position like CB where the drop off in talent between the 1st and 3rd isnt that large. Lots of depth at that position.

    Yeah nickel is the new base defense in the NFL. its to hard to find LB's that can cover. Much easier to find safeties

    He's a projected 2nd round pick, closer to the Giants side of the 2nd round also. The Giants never reach on anybody no matter how desperately they need that position. They always go with the best player available.

    Rather Matthieu, Elam is good, but can he contribute on Special teams PR/KR..gunner..Hear what Deion had to say on the honeybadger..well if prime time trusts him, so do i.

    Elam is used as a gunner on Floridas Punt teams. Dont know if its every punt but ive seen him out there this season. Hard hitter he will be useful in that role

    Elam is a heck of a player, but only if were to trade down for extra picks.. To many good Safetys where u don't need to go get one that early in RD1
