    Matt Hasselbeck - QB

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports up to ten teams have expressed interest in free agent Matt Hasselbeck, and the list could get longer.
This is obviously agent-driven, but Mort says the Cardinals, Bills, Bears, Bengals, Browns, Colts, Saints, Giants, 49ers, and Bucs are the clubs with initial interest. Per Cardinals beat writer Kent Somers, Arizona has begun reviewing the soon-to-be 38-year-old's tape. Hasselbeck was scheduled to earn $5.5 million from the Titans in 2013 before they released him on Monday, but he's be lucky to get half of that on his next deal.

I guess he would be an ok backup if carr leaves

Giants have no cap space to compete with other teams for his services

I agree that we won't be able to sign him, but he would have been a good choice as back up !!

Old News. Someone made a Thread about this hours ago
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

He would never want to come here. He'll want to go somewhere that he might actually have a chance of seeing the field.

That was the attitude about signing with the Colts in 2011. No one wanted to play behind a guy who had 13 straight years of starts.

    Wait...........
