Manti, is he a smoke screen?

I know he is qualified by tape and todays 40 to be attractive at 19. Me I would rather go pressure LB with speed like Ogletree but you guys are lucky I do not make those calls. I think Manti may turn out to be another slow successful middles but I am thinking the signing of O'Connor was more to cross off that need. I know, I know, best player available.

    Te'o > O'Connor..?
(1)Aaron Donald, DT Pittsburgh - (2)Jordan Matthews, WR Vanderbilt - (3)Jack Mewhort, OL Ohio State
(4)Arthur Lynch, TE Georgia - (5)Bryan Stork, C Florida State - (5)Tyler Gaffney, RB Stanford
    (6)Prince Shembo, OLB Notre Dame

    Donald - Ebron - Barr - Martin - Lewan

I don't want him, but I'd take him in the 2nd if he fell that far (which he won't).

Manti Te'o has arguably the best instincts in the draft at the MLB position. What isn't arguable is his production, he's nearly as accomplished as one can be in 4 years of college.

At worst he is an upgrade over Blackburn, but I'm almost positive he doesn't have the upside that guys like A.Brown and Ogletree have.

I don't want Te'o AT ALL. He was absolutely manhandled in the Championship game against a far superior Alabama team. which is no match compared to NFL talent. We also don't have the DTs to clog up the middle for him. Ogletree please

IDK if there is a clogger available at 19. Most of the DT at that spot in the draft are athletic pocket collapsers. I think Ogeltree will be long gone.

Well the whole team was manhandled by Alabama. Speaking of no DL help SEE ND . The giants should be better middle front this year in my opinion.
I'm guessing based on 21 reps and 4.7 40 the point may be mute because Pitt would love him at 17

They actually might be better than the Jaguars. If they played them I bet Bama wins at least 20 out of 100 times.
