Our problem was we too often bogged down in the RZ, causing us to settle for far too many 3s instead of 7s.And in that Redskins game, the fault for the Skins ToP is completely on the defense. They just got completely manhandled in the second half of that game.
In the 4th quarter the offense had a 3 and out just after Washington had scored and that only took 2:03 of the clock. The defense then forced a punt and the offense then made 1 first down and then punted again. Also, the Giants won the battle of TOP in that game with less points to show for it.

The Defense lost that game even though the Redskins averaged 27 points a game last year and they scored 17 points. If an Offense cant get 20 points on the board they are going to lose

It basically menas that they let teams control the game and the clock by not being able to force them off the field.

Face facts the Bucaneers, Bengals Ravens and Falcons destroyed them. Even in close games anytime they were counted on to make a big stop they folded like a cheap tent.

The offense who everybody wants to "run the ball more" was ranked 2nd in points per drive and 5th in yards per drive but was only given 169 drives all year long because this awful defense couldn't get anyone off the field. How about leave well enough alone ?

The cold hard truth is that this defense was pathetic and the fact that Fewell still has a job is a joke. The Giants spent more on defensive cap sapce than anyone but the Jets. Sheridan's defense was better all around and they quit on him. The clowns that compare Fewell to Spagnuolo are delusional.

As far as I am concerned this defense is a bottom feeder that should have been scrapped and rebuilt this year
The offense was also hit or miss. 7 games they didnt score 20 points. They basically were 2 Teams on Offense. Many games they struggled to get anything going

We were trying to play keep away that game. However, as I said, the offense's primary issue last year was not scoring TDs and instead settling for FGs.

The defense did **** the bed in the second half of that game, particularly in the 4th quarter.

The defense allowed one score in the 4th quarter and held them the next time they had the ball. The offense did absolutely nothing in the 4th quarter to help win the game.

So just about half the season they didn't score 20 points? In the second Dallas game they would not have scored 20 without all the TO's.

The Falcons and Ravens destroyed both the offense and defense. Lets not forget they where shut out in one game and had 2 scores in the other game, 1 was meaningless. The offense also spotted the Falcons with great position off of two interceptions thrown by Eli. Likewise, the Tampa game and the Bengals games where not the best games for Eli. He started out both games rough and threw interceptions.

As I said, with exception of a couple of games the main issue was scoring, not sustaining. This doesn't disprove my point.

But as of this year in regular season terms, we don't play either. Falcons possibly in playoffs, but Ravens repeating? Doubt it. We cool man. We cool. Easier schedule, weaponized offense, a revamped defense, a kick *** special teams, and an ELIte QB in his prime. Now to just work on RT...
and should we meet the Falcons in playoffs, it will be on our turf. Just bELIeve.

He had a reputation for fumbling and then he fumbled once and TC yanked him. The rest of the year he saw very limited playing time. Last year we had 2 better options than Wilson. AB and Ware both knew the system and know how to block in pass protection.
