Thread: Giants at 5-2 odds of landing Urlacher

If you're going the veteran route, why not Nick Barnett or Daryl Smith? I'd rather see a draft pick but think Barnett or Smith would be more of a Kawika Mitchell signing than Urlacher.

Don't worry. We should be seeing a "Michael Boley returning" thread soon.

Ha.. what young linebackers? We need at least one young thumper in this draft. Probably what we brought Connor in for anyway, in regards to the leadership.

    Latest Mock

    1. Anthony Barr, OLB - UCLA
    2. Jace Amaro, TE - Texas Tech
    3. DaQuan Jones, DT - Penn St
    4. Brandon Coleman, WR - Rutgers
    5. Anthony Steen, OG - Alabama
    5. James Wilder, RB - Florida St
    6. Aaron Lynch, DE - S. Florida

We could use him as a run stuffer against heavier formations, at least that is one thing, most of our current line backers are useless in ALL sitations.

So your solution is bring in a washed up LBer to an already useless class? We need a longterm fix here. I say LB round 1

We did pretty good with that first round pick back in 81. But LT was second overall (I think) and we have 19 this year. As an old Gints fan, our medicore LB core has pissed me off in recent years. Liked Chase's fire, but the last really good LB we had was AP.

Dont know who will be left at LB at 19, but i'd go with first round LB over DE/DT. But as usual, it will depend on who is available, and in Reese I trust.
