kinda of agree. I think BU is past the point of his career where he could be productive. If he doesn't want to start and just be a roll player on the cheap then maybe
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

His veteran leadership alone would help the young guys

BU leadership, professionalism and instincts are awesome. He would be a great example and leader for our defensive players but he will want too much money. I am sure we wont sign him.

    Bovado lol.

I picked the over on Alicia Keys' national anthem being longer than 3 min. I unfortunately picked the over on 0.5 nipple slips during Beyonce's Half time show.

Back to my peeve misconception on the boards. . .

" ((Insert aging released veteran here)) would be a great influence on our young guys. "

If he's a coach, let him coach. . .not all players are teachers.
We need our coaches to assign playing time based on something other than player salary.

in this case the possible HOF would be a good influnce on the young LB core and who ever else they bring in via the draft.

If they wanted an old LB to guide the younger ones they can just ask Carson, Banks or Armstread to do it.
    We Want 5!
