U know what I found interesting about Cruz. On ESPN's FA rankings Cruz was rated in the 20's behind Rey Maualuga. How insane is that.

I wonder if that had to do with the fact that he's a RFA and not an UFA. My guess would be yes.

I'm not surprised about it, he is playing his hand 'tll the last minute of FA and can't blame him. That been said I'm surprised Andre Bown hasn't signed his tender yet. Don't know what's the purpose of him waiting out.

Very likely the same reason as Cruz? We can't blame the players for dotting their "I's" and crossing their "T's." An agent has an obligation to his client and to rush into a deal when alternatives may surface over the next few weeks is just foolhardy unless the agent can guarantee no team won't make a last minute offer.

That would be the logical thinking but his agent has to know by now ( if there was any doubt ) no one is coughing up 2nd round pick for him. I'm just trying to state the facts and by this his agents is in obligation to his client to tell Andre he isn't going anywhere with that 2nd round tender tag attached to him. I guess this is a matter of time for him to get it signed.

Sometimes you just let the obvious play out in negotiations.
