    Your Favorite Giants Cornerback Duo

Besides Corey Webster we have seen a number of corners starting on the opposite side. Since you became a fan of big blue, what starting duo has been your favorite. Skills or production doesn't really matter, just your personal favorite.

For me it's the duo of Will Allen and William Peterson.
Although Allen was a bit undersized he was a speed demon, something we haven't had since he left. Peterson reminds me of T2, he always seemed to come up with the big play late in games for blue. These young kids came to us in the same year and earned starting roles early, they changed the culture for us at CB with their athletic ability and high motors. Unfortunately for Peterson his career was cut short due to injury and Allen began to get exposed in zone coverage a few years into his career.

    Who's your favorite cornerback duo?

Erich Barnes and D. Lynch may be the best combo this team has ever had

that or D. Lynch and Spider Lockhart

in my opinion the Wills may be the worst combo in Giant history

.....and how was Petersons career cut short?
    he played for a decade

The best duo I got to witness was Everson Walls and Mark Collins. However, as YA said, there were better duos then that before my time.

Spider is an all-time favorite of mine, but he played mostly safety, not CB.

Don't think W Allen lived up to his #1 pick.

Peterson was out of football for a year, then never was really the same. He had to tools to be very good but never lived up to it. As far as the Wills being the worst, i can agree with that, but the original point is to call out your personal favorite despite talent or production. I feel like the Wills infused the group with youth and athleticism which is was lacking for years.

I have a signed Spider Lockhart jersey from the late 60's, it was given to me by my grandfather along with a bunch of other memorabilia from that time and before.

Mark Collins and Perry Williams wasn't too bad. Although Collins was certainly the better CB.
