Having some fun with this Mock

I will probably get ripped to pieces on this mock but I have seen most of the recent mocks on here and they all kind of follow the same criteria.. DL 1st, 2 LB/CB.. etc

1st round Tayvon Austin WR WVU- He personally was my favorite player to watch last year. He is a human highlight reel honestly. Our WR cores future possibly has some questions with Cruz/Nicks if we can keep both of them long term. Could be a BPA situation. The kid had 344 yards rushing in one game vs Oklahoma! Probably not going to happen but he would be fun to watch in a giants uniform.

2nd round Tank Carradine DE Florida St- I have seen him mocked in the second round quite a lot and if he fell to the Giants in the 2nd I would ecstatic. If he did not get hurt he would possibly be a top 10 pick.

3rd round Oday Aboushi OT Virginia- He is a big guy and is very underrated I think at the tackle position. I think that he could be a starter easily in his second year if he really took in what the coaches would be feeding him.

4th round Tharold Simon CB LSU- I think he is one of the most underrated players in the draft. He is not the flashy player like a honeybadger or a Claiborne but he is a solid CB and has great size. I think he could be an absolute steal in the 4th.

5th round A.J Klein MLB ISU- I have mocked him to us more than once and I think that he would be a great fit in our defense. He is very good vs the run and surprisingly makes a lot of plays on the ball when dropping back in coverage. I think that he is a Chase Blackburn type of player in the way of effort that Chase had every play of every game. He is faster and better in coverage than Chase so I think that people would be happy with this kid on the team.

6th round Michael Williams TE Bama- Big guy, pretty much like having another OL out there. I think he honestly should make the transition to OT, I think it would benefit him the most and give him the best chance to succeed in the NFL.

7th round Zac Stacy RB Vanderbilt- Underrated guy I think he could be a very big steal if he lasts this far.

7th round Rontez Miles safety Cal (PA)- big hitter I think he could be a great special teams guy and maybe make an appearance in the starting lineup down the road.

et me know what you guys think, I know that we are probably not going to take Tayvon Austin in the first haha. I am just having a little fun and who knows I mean JR always says that he is looking to take BPA.

Thanks man, it kind of got hard to finish the mock towards the end because that is usually where I like to pick a WR so it took me a bit longer than normal to round out the mock but I think if this draft happened I would be more than happy with the outcome of it and I think that almost all of our needs would be fixed or at least helped.

Yeah I know what you mean. That is why I do not think that we will draft Austin because I do think that we will get Cruz back in the near future here. Hopefully sooner than later.

+1. Cruz will be here at least another year IMO, so theres no need for WR when there are bigger ships to sink.

I kinda feel tavon austin is under sized and we already got a small elusive WR we're grooming in Jernigan. To take Austin i'd take Coradelle Patterson, guy runs like a RB, and is 6'3. To me he is the most dynamic WR in the draft.

I agree, but you can count on Nicks being hurt always, randle may be decent, but he also may never be anything other than a 3rd/4th guy....& what happens if Cruz is gone by 2014??
Let's not forget 2012 superbowl never would've happened without having 2 legit WRs....running game was weak & defense was hot and cold
